The country's liquid foreign exchange reserves increased by some $ 25 million to $15.629 billion at the end of the last week compared to $15.604 billion a week earlier. During the week ending August 23, 2019, the State Bank of Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves rose by $ 32.4 million to $ 7.358 billion. In addition, reserves held by banks decreased by $ 7.4 million to $ 7.358 billion at the end of last week.
